Dear Santa Claus,

Since the November Mid-terms, I have been watching the GOP revert to their old, tired ways. You have probably noticed that most of the Republicans that won were aided by Tea Party voters and Conservatives like myself, right? Well, now that the GOP has control (at least come January), they have resorted to moderating back to Rinoville. The so-called conservatives--- at least they claimed to be during the elections--- didn't waste much time leaning toward the middle, or even more leftward, as soon as the last ballots were counted. Now, they have passed a trillion dollar spending bill, filled with pork, and funding for Obamacare. They said that they wouldn't do that.

The GOP, the Grand Old Party, wish to distance themselves from what they consider the lunatic fringe of the party--- the conservative base.

As my old grandfather used to say: "They forgot who brung em to the dance."

Now Santa, those folks that know me also know that I was once a Progressive (Liberal) Democrat. I grew up and became a Republican when I realized that I was on the wrong side. I realized that the Democrat Party had left me a long time ago. Now the Republican Party has left me as well. They deem me as unworthy of their attention. They look upon me as an obstacle that they have to overcome. They forgot that I voted for them because of what they supposedly stood for.

But now I realize that what they really stand for is more of the status quo. More big government; more regulations that will help the big party donors and screw the little people. More goodies for them and less freedom for the rest of us. Like the Democrats, the Republicans pander to the wealthy--- The businesses, the hedge fund folks, and the millionaires and billionaires that help pay to keep them in office. And also the lobbyist that send them on free trips and golf outings get the attention while We The People are looked upon as mere voters that will keep on voting for them because we're Republicans.

Not anymore, Santa, not anymore. I am officially looking for a viable Third Party.

I want a conservative party. I want a conservative to run for president. This nation doesn't need another Clinton or Bush in the White House. America needs a true conservative that will not sell his or her idealism to the highest bidder. I want a conservative that will do what he or she says they will do, not blow smoke up our collective asses--- and wink at their lobbyist friends as to tell them we're schmucks and will do whatever they want.

Not anymore, I tell you!

Santa, I want a candidate that wishes to run the country by the Constitution, not executive orders. I want a conservative that will bring fiscal sanity back to Washington DC. I want someone that will erase the multitudes of stupid, unconstitutional laws that have been passed since 9/11.

I want a real grown-up leader who wants America to be the shining city on the hill again; not some third-world crap pile that we have been made in the last few years.

And Santa, I want the GOP, the Republican Party, to go the way of the Whig Party. Then those RINOS (republicans in name only) can go to the democrat party... and good riddance to them.

And lastly, I want those true Conservatives that are still in the Republican Party to join forces with the new party and make it a power to be reckoned with.

I hope you can deliver all of this, Santa. Or is it too much to ask?
